Wishing all our SVCAC members and valley residents a happy and prosperous New Year ahead! With each new year comes the potential of new possibilities, and this year perhaps a pivot towards new creative directions for many. We recognize that 2020 was challenging on several fronts, especially in the arts sector where many artists and studios were forced to develop new approaches to their creative practices.
We are hopeful that in 2021 we will see the safe reopening of communal spaces, the return of performing artists to the stage, and the opportunity to gather once again to celebrate arts and culture together. In the meantime we will continue to learn and support one another, encourage our community to buy local and hold onto the sustainability of the handmade artistic sector in our fragile economy.
