2021 Member Grants

The Slocan Valley Community Arts Council (SVCAC) is accepting applications for the 2021 Member Grants cycle. Please read the Project Guidelines  carefully.  Questions can be directed to svcarts@gmail.com

Program Description & Eligibility
SVCAC acts as a hub to support arts and culture projects. Funding from the British Columbia Arts Council and the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) enable the Member grants program to fund individual and group artists. Please note you must be a member in good standing with the Slocan Valley Community Arts Council in order to apply. Memberships can be obtained on our website. Please consult the Project Guidelines for a full listing of eligibility requirements. 

Application Process

Download and complete the Application Form – Choose one format (either PDF or Word) Reminder to download, rename and save to your computer before you begin.

Applications must be submitted to svcarts@gmail.com or mail to: SVCAC, Box 18, Winlaw BC V0G-2J0 by 4 p.m. April 15th, 2021.

Applications are evaluated by an adjudication panel made up of two current Board members, and three community members. For a breakdown of the evaluation criteria, please refer to the Project Guidelines. Applicants will be notified in early May 2021.


CBT Arts & Culture Grants

Individual artists can also apply for funding through the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance.

Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance, in partnership with Columbia Basin Trust, invites individuals of all artistic disciplines, and arts and cultural groups in the Columbia Basin to apply for project funding.
