Member Grants

The 2018-2019 Member granting cycle is now complete. The next intake will be in Fall of 2019.

Do you have a project that needs a helping hand; need money to hire artists or musicians for an event; or are short on supplies for a community event? Considering applying for a member grant.

Member Grants are available to both individual members and group members. The goal of the member grant program is to encourage arts activity throughout the valley, from Playmor Junction to the Village of Slocan. Consider how a member grant would help you to bring art into our beautiful and diverse valley.

Please note: Grants cannot be used to create infrastructure (eg. build a stage). It is important to read through all the guidelines for applications and look at the example of a completed form. Note, your budget must be balanced.

For 2019, the grant applications will be available in early fall and due mid-December. The results of the 2018 grant application process will be announced by March 1, 2019.

Individual artists can also apply for funding through the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance. They have funding available once a year, with March 1st and 15th deadlines. Applications are available through their website. For more information visit: http://basinculture.com.
