Program Description & Eligibility
SVCAC acts as a hub to support arts and culture projects. Funding from the British Columbia Arts Council and the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) enable the Member grants program to fund individual and group artists. Please note you must be a member in good standing with the Slocan Valley Community Arts Council in order to apply. Memberships can be obtained on our website. Please consult the Project Guidelines for a full listing of eligibility requirements.

Applications must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to: SVCAC, Box 18, Winlaw BC V0G-2J0 by 4 p.m. March 31st, 2020.
Applications are evaluated by an adjudication panel made up of two current Board members, and three community members. For a breakdown of the evaluation criteria, please refer to the Project Guidelines. Applicants will be notified in early May 2020.
Individual artists can also apply for funding through the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance. They have funding available once a year, with March 6th and 13th deadlines. Applications are available through their website. For more information visit: http://basinculture.com.
