The Slocan Valley Community Arts Council is pleased to announce our new administrator, Robin Medland.
Robin has lived in Winlaw the past five years where she has enjoyed staying home with her two young artistically enthused children and has casually been employed with interior health as an administrative assistant.
She has a passion for the arts which includes creative writing, as well as collecting and creating pottery. She has enjoyed being a model for a local artist and is an avid potter aficionado and student of many a local talent.
Robin previously resided in Edmonton where she has seven years experience working in administration at the University of Alberta and the Stollery Children’s Hospital. In her spare time she bakes sourdough bread for her community members and frequents the artistic amenities in the area.
The SVCAC is super excited to have an administrator once again to assist with the many exciting projects and initiatives we have planned for the coming years.
