Valley Gems Theatre

The Valley Gems is a community theatre troupe representing artists from across the southern Slocan Valley. We strive to create accessible, entertaining and meaningful theatre experiences for the community, featuring local talent in all aspects of the production.

The Gems were founded in 2013, and created their first production, Departures and Arrivals, at the Slocan Park Hall. They were surprised to find themselves performing to a sold-out audience! Since then, the Gems have made the Vallican Whole their performance home, and produced The Real Inspector Hound (2015), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2018), and most recently, Peter Pan (2019).
